After five months at CMG, I feel genuinely fortunate to be part of such a capable, committed and welcoming team. From my first day, what has stood out most has been the quality of the people: their pride in the business, their willingness to help one another, and their determination to keep improving for our customers.
Joining CMG has also been a return to my chemical engineering foundations, in a business where science, manufacturing discipline, quality systems, and customer trust all matter every day. My career has taken me around the world in energy, technology, and private equity-backed ventures, but the common thread has always been helping good teams lift performance, build confidence, and deliver sustainable growth.
In a short period, the team has already achieved a significant step-up in delivery. Our sales and production are already about 50% more than prior to my arrival and we intend to continue to grow. This is a credit to the focus, energy, and practical commitment of people across the business. It has not come from one person or one change, but from many people leaning in, solving problems and working together with a shared sense of purpose.
I am excited about what comes next for CMG. We have strong foundations, great people and a clear opportunity to keep growing our customer base and building a business known for science, innovation, and quality.
